Shopify and WordPress installation

1. Open the domain in Gumanalytics and choose Settings.
2. In Setup, select Shopify and copy the generated script.
3. In Shopify admin, open Online Store, then Themes.
4. Open the active theme menu and choose Edit code.
5. Open layout/theme.liquid and paste the script immediately before the closing </head> tag.
6. Save the file and visit the storefront to confirm the first page view.

3. Install and activate the WPCode plugin in WordPress.
4. Open Code Snippets, then Header & Footer.
5. Paste the script into the Header field and save changes.
6. Clear any WordPress page cache and visit the live website.

Using a header-code plugin keeps the analytics installation separate from theme files, so a normal theme update does not remove it.

If you later enable session replay, heatmaps, or change their sample rates, return to Settings and replace the installed script with the newly generated platform snippet.
